    Interesting, I usually go 1 for English, listen to that fucking message and press 6 and 7. I’ll try this out. All I have to say is that if it works, God bless you & thanks for the suggestion regardless!! :-)

    I tried the method at the top of this thread today twice and got through on the second try. Thanks so much for sharing. I was getting SO frustrated. It turns out it was a good thing I talked to someone. They arbitrarily closed my claim because I had excessive earnings one week, which was why I stopped getting claim forms, necessary for the week I had NO earnings. JEEZ!

    You don’t have to wait until you hear the announcer tell you to press zero. Immediately after the announcer begins to explain your benefit amounts, press  zero and it will start to connect you to the call center. This is still a major headache as there are often people already waiting and the phone system will explain that there are too many callers waiting and that you will have to call back later. Just keep trying, it’s “call center roulette” but you do get through eventually. Be patient and extremely courteous. Those people at the call center always respond to kindness, courteousness and a soft managed tone.

    I tried this a few days ago and was disconneted because of too many calls holding. I tried again this morning and was disconnected again. I called back and tried one more time..said a lil prayer to Jesus and got thru. I haven’t had a payment since March 29th. I found out I’m schduled for an interview and didn’t even know it. My interview isn’t till th 19th! No payment will be issued until I speak to someone. Fricken great! The one positive > the customer service rep I spoke too was actually NICE and INFORMATIVE! Imagine that. There’s that 1 in a million at EDD and English was not her first language. Go figure.

    I followed this advice…got through first try…lady transferred me to a dead ext…called back 4 times with no success and on 5th time got through with no issues. Gentleman took care of me and am now good to go….GREAT ADVICE !! Thank you.

    It’s like a backdoor! Thanks, I was pulling my hair out, called like 100 times in two days!
