EDD TELECERT NOT WORKING 2/19/12

THIS SHIT TELE CERT IS NOT WORKING,Keeps saying system unavailable please try back later! Anyone else?

Hi all. I am having the “The personal identification information provided is invalid. Please check the values and try again. If the problem persists, please try again in an hour.” issue. I have followed all the rules and have entered my information numerous times. I have no clue what the problem is. With telecert being down, which is how I usually file, this makes me very worried about getting my money on time. Any help with getting web cert to work would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve been trying ALL day! All day it’d put me on hold to verify my SSN and Pin and play music for a minute before telling me it was down.. Now it just says it’s down.. Hopefully it’ll work soon! But feb 20th Edd is closed

Also anytime I’ve EVER tried signing up for webcert it’d tell me MY info was wrong! It’s just an excuse for them to not have to do extra work and laugh at us when we have kids and are trying to listen to the ridiculous recording fo telecert knowing the option and yet still having to listen to every prompt.. By time we forget which question it was and are afraid the wrong answer will delay our benefits so we choose the option to repeat it.. The shortest time it takes on the call without having to repeat any questions is 10 minutes! Like it’s easy to have 10 minutes of silence to finish that phone call with toddlers lol! Why can’t I just do webcert?!!

I tried the Tele-cert all day up until now and no success. I just now tried web-cert and it worked perfect. Good luck.

What is the departments story on the homosexual sounding “male” who comes on, prerecorded, every time you call? It seems like the department is hell bent on telling you how hard Obongo is working to make sure you-
A: Can’t get a job (because there are none)
B: Can get EDD benefits because he is such a nice guy
And this is after the recording was changed. You should have heard it in December when it sounded like some kind of a god damn campaign promise.
I might be able to ignore the stupidity if the “male” didn’t sound like an eye shadow wearing government subjugate.

Finally submitted my claim on web-cert. I was trying to do it the whole day but it kept on saying invalid entry. I then realized for my weekly claims, the amount I was putting in was after taxes, that’s why it kept saying invalid. Make sure you check your award letter and check the actual amount (before taxes). Hope this helps anyone who is having trouble. Web-cert is so much faster than tele-cert. GOOD LUCK!!!

Yep, I’m going to bed too! Perhaps the system will up date at 6am. (keeping my fingers crossed). I’m about ready to leave a message at Governor Brown’s office to ask for help! There should be some 24/7 technical/system error message update so we don’t freak out about how we are going to pay bills next week! Still grateful for the extension, but I’ve got bills to pay.

WEBCERT- Check Again
If you filed using WEBCERT, make sure it was actually submitted by logging in and checking status. I registered, filed my web cert, printed my page and NOW the system says I’m not registered and to register.
I tried to register again and NOW it states my values are not valid.
Both systems (telecert and webcert) are not functioning properly.
Login to your account and make sure your claim was submitted.

This is total BS! I’ve had nothing but problems with EDD since I’ve been on it. Its always something. Maybe they should hire people capable of doing their job! And why the hell don’t they have around the clock technical support for shit like this?? Ugh, I can’t wait until I don’t have to rely on this petty shit… Get it together EDD.#imjustsaying
P.s Why do we have to listen to the whole frickin 10 minute spill before the dumb ass system says its down??
