I had a scheduled interview on July 2, I was unable to attend. On July 8, I submitted my claim via WebCert as always. On July 10 I received payment but only half of what I normally get. I checked on WebCert and it says “2 weeks” were issued. A day later, I received a claim form and notice of payment of $450( That is my weekly entitlement) and a notice that i missed my appointment. I mailed out the questionnaire yesterday. My question is, is EDD withholding a weeks payment from me because I missed that appointment? I’ve heard they can put a hold on that if you do? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
