    My Continued Claim Form is late also. They put money on my Debit Card last Wednesday. I checked the mail today no Claim Form. It is due on Sunday. I tried to call but could not get thru. Are we the only two having this problem? I should have received it yesterday. What do you think?

    My son is also unemployed and getting benefits and he did not receive his form either so that makes at least 3 of us!!

    Trying to get thru this morning on the phone to ask about my Continued Claim Form. Not getting thru. I read on a website some girl received hers on November 29. She uses Web Cert. I file the paper Claim Form. Wonder if that makes a difference? I have the feeling my Continued Claim form is late. Wish I knew why. Received my money last Wednesday on my Debit Card. Is there anywhere on the EDD website that tells you your form has been sent out?

    Update!! Got thru on the line. Paper claim form should of been here. USPS problem i guess. Spoke to a wonderful employee at EDD. WOW! What great Customer Service. Gave me alternatives to file my Continued Claim Form. What a relief.

    Last claim form I recevied was November 18 2011. Last money debited to my debit was November 10. Im late on all my bills.And you cant even get ahold of anyone to talk too.

    I received my 1st two checks 2 weeks ago and no claim form attached. Tried to sign up for both Tele-cert and Web-cert but got a message saying I couldn’t. Called 6 times today and could not get through. Sent an email over the weekend but no reply yet. Not one bit of correspondence in over two weeks. I’m worried my employer is in the middle of this but not sure why I wouldn’t receive any info on it. I don’t know why it’s so hard for me to believe either postal or EDD incompetence is behind this but it very well could be. Anyone know anything? Any tricks, tips, online ways to get info on my personal status? So stressful not knowing what’s going on…

    Anon, I have had many issues with EDD and no response to any of my communication as well for over a month (as well as not being paid). I finally got a hold of them through the chinese line, and was paid, but have not received my continued claim form, I received only the cover mailing page. I called again and they verified that there are many issues going on, and many people have not received their claim forms. She said she would have mine sent right away, but to try webcert or telecert. Webcert worked for me today as well as the chinese line, but I have no confidence in their system, and wonder what lies beneath the lack of correspondence and apparent “errors” in their system. I didnt want to press the issue with the rep as she was helpful, and I just need to get paid (things are very rough these day). Good luck getting through, good luck getting paid, and good luck finding employment in this absurdly difficult, and bleak job market.

    Thanks for your response Anonymous2. I’ve been trying english, spanish, and vietnamese. Will give chinese a try. Cannot believe they would be so bad during the holidays…no, actually I CAN believe it…but it’s ridiculous. And somewhat cruel. Damn. We pay these salaries…

    GOT THROUGH!!!! Called all the foreign language lines and just kept getting disconnected. Called the english line again and dialed 12117 as soon as the recorded message about extensions finished and pressed 0. Was on hold about 7 minutes. Discovered saying the persons name who answers the phone (Ex. Hi Darrell…) helps with getting pleasant customer service by the way. Apparently my forms were not mailed due to system error…he didn’t actually say system error but did say the forms were just not sent when they should have been and he would mail them for me. No holds on my account or any issues so now I wait anxiously…

    All the forms are lost or late because the Post Office does not care.

    I got mine today (12/21/11) and it’s post marked on the 17th, so it seems the problem lies with USPS. It should have been here on the 19th. I would suggest that if you don’t receive your continued claim form by the end of the week then use the tele-cert or web-cert. As far as I understand it those option’s should work just as well as the mail in form. Besides trying to call them will only end up in a complete waste of time as you will never get through and it will make you got out of your freaking mind. Just note that you have to wait to use those option’s until the day you would mail in your form, IE Sunday/Monday.

    I BEEM TRYING AND TRYING aand trying for over a mounth To understand what did i do wrong ,why they cut my benifit ? why they cant help me at one step center ,, wnd why They won’t help me in the phone ?? what the **** !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

        i started my claim in the end of aplel and all what i recived was may !! then i got cut off , dont know how OR why !!

          Lots of reasons.

          Employer contesting your claim.

          You returned claim forms which were not completed properly.

          No one here can tell you what your problem is. If you’ve been to a one-stop, you were not ignored. Someone talked to you. Only you can get the answers. Try again.

            i been to one-step-center over 4 times ,,and i was not just ignored ,NO they acttuly remember me !! of course they told me we cant help you you can call this number and BLA BLA BLA

    My UI benefits ran out in July 2013. How long does it take to get the Federal extension Form, DE 4581? Thanks and best wishes to all UE 8-(

    I mailed my form, and I found out I have a mistake in my form DE 4581 and I called them. She told me that the request had been sent for the phone interview. She will go over my form through phone. But she can’t tell me howl long is the waiting period. But one thing she’s sure is my money is on hold till the interview. They will send me a phone interview appointment through mail.

    Is anybody had this experience?
